Race to Space Challenge
May 28-Aug. 24

Read, go to a library program, watch a movie, play video games and more to earn prizes! Here's how it works:

  • Pick up your Race to Space activity card at the 1st floor service desk.
  • Complete 10 tasks.
  • Turn your activity card in at the library, choose a prize and enter the grand prize drawing for a $100 VISA gift card.
  • You can claim one card per prize, but complete up to three cards.
  • Complete 10 reading circles on a card for a bonus prize! (While supplies last.)
  • Grand prize drawing held on Aug. 23. (Must be present to win.)

Be Fine Free! (BFF)
Read 20 minutes at the library anytime this summer to earn your BFF coupon (limit one per person).

Free Rides to the Library

Show your library card and ride the city bus FREE to the Oshkosh Public Library. It’s easy!
Get on the bus. Show your library card. Get a ticket for a free ride home at any library service desk.

Supervillain in Space: An Aerospace Escape Room Challenge - FREE
Registration required. Visit oshkoshpubliclibrary.org after Aug. 1 to reserve a spot.
The world needs your help! A deranged supervillain named Landslide is about to turn the world’s people to stone. He needs one more space rock to complete his deadly machine, and he’s close to finding it. You have 35 minutes to find the location of Landslide’s final rock before he destroys all of humanity! Hurry!
