Afternoon Book Club

Get more out of your reading experience by joining a book club at the Oshkosh Public Library. The Afternoon Book Club meets on the second Thursday of every month from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Oshkosh Public Library. New members are always welcome!

Wisconsin's master storyteller and historian talks about his latest book, Wisconsin Agriculture : a history. The richly illustrated release from the Wisconsin Historical Society Press chronicles Wisconsin farming and its evolution over time in a way that will appeal to history buffs, devotees of the state’s agricultural heritage, and those who simply appreciate a good story.

The story of any community is best told in the voices of those who call it their home. In his latest book, local author Ron La Point brings together countless hours of personal interviews to assemble a new collection of Oshkosh memories and add another chapter to our city’s history.

Teens grades 6-12 are invited to join the Teen Book Club. Meetings are held the 1st Friday of every month at 4:30 pm in the Library's lower level Conference Room. Enjoy free pizza!
