Oshkosh Public Library will close today at 1 p.m. due to deteriorating weather conditions caused by the ongoing snowstorm. The library will reopen on Sat., Jan. 13 at noon. The safety of our patrons and staff is our top priority, and after careful consideration of the weather forecast, it has been decided to adjust our hours to ensure everyone’s well-being. The library will remain closed for the rest of the day and evening. All programs and activities are also cancelled. We plan to reopen at noon on Sat., Jan. 13.

Visit the library's Children's Department to see the winning entries in the annual Helen Farnsworth Mears (1872-1916) Art Contest sponsored by the General Federation of Women’s Clubs – Oshkosh Women’s Arts Club. The juried contest was established in 1927 to honor the Oshkosh-born sculptor, encourage artistic talent and recognize student artists.
