High Hopes Early Literacy Storytime

We know that you have high hopes for your child. Becoming a good reader almost guarantees a bright future. We can help with that!
Come to a special storytime program offered to any pre-reading child along with a parent or caregiver. Your little one will enjoy stories, songs, fingerplays and rhymes while you learn how to teach your newborn, baby, toddler, or preschooler early literacy skills at home in playful, loving ways.

What are these skills?
Early literacy skills are a set of abilities that prepare a child to read. Starting at birth, nearly all of these skills can be taught through the following activities:

When is it?
Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 9:30 and 10:15 am. Each storytime lasts 15-20 minutes followed by a playtime where special library materials will be available.
