Discovering the Daughters of the American Revolution website

Date:
Thursday, November 8, 2018 - 6:00pm

Presented by the Winnebagoland Genealogical Society

Our presenter, Sherry Lloyd, will show the genealogy resources available on the National Society of the Daughters of American Revolution (DAR) website. This presentation is designed for genealogists who are not members of the organization, however members of DAR are encouraged to attend.

The presentation will show the genealogical resources available for family research, even those families that were not in America prior to the Revolution. The DAR website is free to use and a great resource to use from home.

Sherry Lloyd has been researching genealogy for more than 35 years. She has attended many genealogy classes, several local and national genealogy conferences and has been teaching genealogy for more than ten years. Sherry has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from UW Oshkosh and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Edgewood College in Madison.

The Winnebagoland Genealogical Society meets on the second Thursday of each month (except July) at 6 p.m. in the library's lower level meeting room. Visitors are always welcome.
