Antje Petty, Assistant Director of the Max Kade Institute for German-American Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will provide an overview of frequently overlooked resources from German-American communities that can yield important clues for family historians researching their German-speaking ancestors. She will also suggest strategies on how to prioritize, interpret and read these documents.
