National Novel Writing Month

Saturday, November 9, 2013 - 6:00pm

Let the Oshkosh Public Library be your writing destination for National Novel Writing Month.  Held each November, NaNoWriMo entices writers of all ages as they attempt to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November.  Writers are welcome to visit the library during open hours; we offer free-wifi and pencils. The Water’s Building (under the Dome) will be the designated writing area but you are welcome to seek out a nook in other areas of the library as well.  Don’t miss the special write-ins held in partnership with the Oshkosh Area Writers Club:

Night of Writing Dangerously
Need some words? Let us help you with plot ninjas, word sprints and other support in a quiet setting designed to get you to your word count goal.
6 p.m. to midnight.  Located in the Water’s Building (Under the Dome)
Note: Library will be closed to the public. Use entrance adjacent to parking lot.

The events are funded by the Friends of the Oshkosh Public Library. For more information on these and other area NaNoWriMo events, please email
