To wrap up the Wild Winter Read Off and celebrate our adventurous learners, we're so excited to welcome Wisconsin author Lisl Detlefsen to the library.
She'll discuss how she became an award-winning writer and what it's like to live on a cranberry marsh in Wisconsin Rapids. She'll also be available to sign her books. In addition, the library will host fun, literacy-based activities all morning - including cookie decorating, a sensory "cranberry marsh," DIY jetpack making, photo booth and more!
At 1 p.m., Lisl will turn her attention to aspiring writers. Join her in the First Floor Reading Room. Her story may provide the inspiration you need to tap into your creative side!
