Summer Reading Challenge 2022

June 1 – Aug. 13
The library's challenge combines learning and fun to:

  • Keep reading skills sharp.
  • Offer new reading adventures for all ages.
  • Make summer a memorable experience!
  • Let’s read together to achieve our 2022 community goal of 1 million total minutes read!

All ages can register at (How to Use Beanstack) and track reading and activities online, or stop by the library and request a printed tracking log at any of our service desks. It's your choice!

KIDS (Preschool - Grade 5)
Read (Goal: 500 minutes or more and complete activities)
Track your progress. If you're looking for something new to read, sample some titles from these lists: time traveler, Road Trip USA, ocean explorer and portal to a different world!
A ball chain necklace with beads, brag tags, a free book, food coupons, a voucher for a free ticket to a Timber Rattlers game, and so much more!

TEENS (Grades 6 – 12)
Read (Goal 150 minutes or more and complete activities)
Log your reading time and complete library-themed activities to earn a reward and raffle tickets.
Free OPL bookstore items, prize pack with various goodies, and raffle tickets for drawings
Raffle drawings: gift cards, video games, signed books
Grand Prize Drawing: Beats Studio 3 Wireless Headphones

ADULTS (Ages 18 and older)
Read (Goal: 10 hours or more)
Read for fun, write reviews, and explore the library during your challenge.
Earn free books all summer and be entered into one of three Grand Prize Drawings for gift certificates to
Downtown Oshkosh, Target, or Pick ‘n Save. Winners will be chosen on Aug. 15.
