You know how adorable your pets are. Why not show them off? We are celebrating pets during the month of May with special pet programs and a photo contest.

You know how adorable your pets are. Why not show off their charms to the rest of the world? Submit a photo in our online contest and you could win a prize from a local pet business or pet-friendly business.

Awards in five fun categories! (One entry per pet, please)
True Crime
Participants should not choose a category when entering. Judges will decide which photos best fit each category.

You could win prizes from the following local sponsors:

Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Pets that Go! A Richard Scarry Event (kids & families)
Wed., May 2; 6 to 7 p.m.
Lower level meeting room.
Celebrate author Richard Scarry's birthday! Create a “petmobile,” play Scarry's Charter Adventures and more.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover (kids & families)
Wed., May 9; 1 p.m.
Under the skylight, lower level
Bring your favorite stuffed pal for a special storytime at 1 p.m. Leave your furry friend with us for a library sleepover. Pick up your animals by 5 p.m. on Sat., May 12 and find out more about their night in the library.

Pet Parade (all ages)
Fri., May 11; 5 p.m.
Meet at the Washington Avenue entrance, between the lions and bring your favorite pet for a parade around the library grounds. Games, a community mural and photo opps. Special guests: Oshkosh Area Humane Society, Read-to-a-Dog, Madison Cat Café & Oshkosh Fire Department.

Pet Obedience 101 (all ages)
Mon., May 14; 6 to 7 p.m.
Under the Dome
An expert shares general training advice & tips for housetraining puppies. (please leave your pets at home for this one!)

Pamprrrr Your Pet Day (all ages)
Sat., May 19; 10:30 a.m. to noon
Make treats and toys for your dogs and cats. Girls Who Code from South Park Middle School will share a special project they’re doing for the Oshkosh Area Humane Society. (please leave your pets at home for this one!)
