Compensation:     2024 Salary starts at $62,646.27 per year

Hours:                   Full-time position that includes evening and weekend hours

Position Information: 

The Oshkosh Public Library is seeking a tech-savvy librarian to join our Information Services Department. This position specializes in technology and digital literacy, working to position the library as a leading community resource for technology.  Responsibilities include developing and presenting classes and workshops for both the staff and public, instructing staff and public in the use of various digital technologies, helping maintain the IT infrastructure throughout the building in conjunction with the library system PC support specialist, providing information and reader’s advisory service and working as a team member committed to achieving the strategic goals of the library. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, forward thinking professional librarian who embraces the challenge of emerging technology. Minimum Qualifications: 

Master of Library Science degree from an ALA accredited institution.  Recent graduates from an ALA-accredited master’s degree program are encouraged to apply.
