All Things Fall

Fall is the season of football, leaf peeping, fall harvest and Halloween!  The All Things Fall page links you to fun activities taking place in the Oshkosh area this fall.

Downtown Oshkosh Chili Cook-Off
Sat., Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the downtown Opera House Square. Free Chili tasting begins at 1 p.m. with judging to follow.  Winners will be announced at 2 p.m.  Chili cooked on site. More info at Oshkosh Chili Cook-off.  Proceeds will be donated to Day by Day Warming Shelter.

Oshkosh Downtown Trick-or-Treat - Weds., Oct. 25, 4 - 6 p.m.

Downtown Holiday Parade - Thurs., Nov. 16, 6:30 p.m. Tree lighting, 6 p.m. downtown Oshkosh. Theme: A Charlie Brown Christmas.  Contact Cassie Daniels at 920.303.2265 with questions.

Wisconsin's Best Rib Fest
Sept. 1 - 4, Menonimee Park, hosted by the local Rotary Clubs.  Admission: $5/day.
Professional Barbecuers from around the country will be coming up to Oshkosh to create their masterpieces of meat! From food & family fun, to music & entertainment.

Hmong Fall Festival & Soccer Tournament
Sept. 2 - 3, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Winnebago County Community Park, 501 E County Rd Y.
Great food, dancing, traditional games, music and merchandise vendors.

People of the Waters Exhibit

Children's Day Parade at Menominee Park Zoo
Sept. 24, Menominee Park Zoo.  11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Join us for a Children’s Parade through the park!  At the end of the parade, there will be games, a bounce house and slide.

Rare WWII Nose Art Exhibit
EAA AirVenture Museum.  Currently on display through Dec. 2017.
More than 30 pieces of nose art from actual World War II combat aircraft made their first-ever trip outside their home museum.

Walk to End Alzheimers
Sept. 16, Registration opens at 9 a.m. Oshkosh North High School, 1100 W Smith Ave.
Join the walk to end Alzheimers.  Route length: 3 miles / 1 mile.

Autumn Movie Series - Time Community Theater
445 N. Main St.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m., movie shown at 7 p.m. All ages welcome. Admission is $3 or if sponsored free, donations welcomed.

Oshkosh Oktoberfest
Sat., Oct. 7 ; 10 a.m - 11 p.m.  Bier Hall, new location to be announced.
Come and enjoy great German music, German food, and German culture. Oktoberfest 2K bier run and costume contest.
