Read Across America Day 2019

Be a part of the largest reading event in the U.S. during Read Across America Day!
It’s fun for all ages as we mark the good doctor’s 115th birthday and expand our celebration to include the inventive characters and original stories created by Mo Willems and Roald Dahl. Enjoy games and activities inspired by our featured authors, browse the shelves, visit the Book Zoo and relax in Explorers Grove, a brand-new interactive learning and play space.

Librarians and staff will be available to answer questions about literacy and help you choose the perfect books to continue the festivities at home. Read Across America Day is also a great time for young learners to sign up for their first library card
