The Oshkosh League of Women Voters will be having a candidate forum that will air live on CitiCable 10.  The broadcast is Thursday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m.  Candidates for the Oshkosh Area School District and Winnebago County Board will be participating.

Time to Vote!

  Don't forget to cast your ballot today for the 2008 Primary Election.  Vote for presidential candidates and Oshkosh Area School Board.  Don't know where to vote?  How do I register to vote?  Check out the library's election information web page.  Polls are open till 8:00 p.m.

Presidential Candidate Appearances in Oshkosh

Senator Barack Obama will be at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Kolf Sports Center at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15th.  Doors open at noon for the general public.  The event is free and open to the public.  No tickets are required.

Senator John McCain will be at the EAA Aviation Center and Museum on Friday, Feb. 15th.  Doors open at 10:30 a.m.  Town Hall meeting will run from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  No tickets are required.

Voter Forums

The Oshkosh Area League of Women Voters will hold two candidates' forums before the Feb. 19 primary election.

A forum for the County Board District 14 candidates will be held on Monday, Feb. 4, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 1100 E. Murdock Ave.
 
A forum for the Oshkosh Area School Board candidates will be held Thursday, Feb. 7, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Oshkosh City Council Chambers, 4th Floor City Hall.  This forum will be broadcast on OCAT (CitiCable 10) and simulcast by WCOT 101.9 FM, Oshkosh Community Radio.

Public is invited to attend these forums.  They may submit questions for the candidates in person at the forums or electronically to fgmem@sbcglobal.net.
