Indian Trails of the Fox: From the Great Lakes to the Mississippi

Overland Indian trails and water courses of the Middle Fox River Passageway were an important link between the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River. David Tovar examines the “markings” of the landscape and explains how the Indians navigated this trail system.

Presented in partnership with the Butte des Morts Historical Preservation Society.

Oshkosh's Cigar Industry presented by Larry Spanbauer

A Look Back; Oshkosh's Cigar Industry presented by Larry Spanbauer of the Oshkosh Memorabilia Club. Larry shares the history of the cigar industry in Oshkosh--including the more than 100 manufacturers that called our city home. He'll bring in dozens of cigar boxes from his collection--some dating back to the turn of the century--along with molds, business tokens, signage and other memorabilia. He'll also talk about his upcoming book.

Larry encourages others who have photos or other items from the cigar industry to bring them to the event.
