 Capital crimes by Stuart Woods

Another great Woods novel, best read after "The run."  The continuation of the Lee novels, watching him carefully and gracefully deal with multiple high profile murders.  I didn't want to put it down!  If you like Stuart Woods, definitely don't pass it up.  --Lisa

This is a fictional novel, but the author uses many factual points regarding global warming and footnotes them throughout the book.  --Jill

The wedding of Father Tim and Cynthia. All of the fun and joy of the Mitford novels, plus the excitement and anticipation of planning a wedding. Lots of funny moments and some excellent quotes. Made me remember my wedding planning and all of the emotions that come before the big day.  --Lisa

Death and honor by W.E.B. Griffin

Book is set in the timeframe of middle 1940s and Germany is about ready to end the war in Europe.  U. S. Marine Cletus Frade is also a member of Colonel William Graham's OSS Group. A few German military individuals are trying to get money and other things into Argentina so they can set up life after the war. Mr. Frade and friends are to stop them. Members in the Germany embassy in Buenos Aires have defected to the American side and keep Major Frade informed. Mr. Dulles of OSS and others get involved in what the U.S. is doing in Argaentina. Good reading as are all the books by Mr. Griffin. Recommend reading the book.  --Larry

Summer reading: a novel by Hilma Wolitzer

What a perfect title for the Summer Reading program!  "Page Turners" is the name of a summer reading club; this book is a wonderful story about 3 women (retired teacher; young socialite; maid) whose lives interact over the course of the summer.  A bibliography of the books read by the "Page Turners" is included.  --Susan

 Stone cold by David Baldacci

John Carr (alias Stone) was a government agent.  He took part in killing an innocent man.  The man's son is now taking revenge on all involved.  Couldn't put the book down.  --LouAnn

Oliver Stone and the Camel Club in Washington, D.C. end up being hunted down.  Stone, also known as John Carr, a former CIA assassin, is on the hit list of former Russian spy mother and son for killing husband, who was also a CIA employee under cover.  Keeps me up wondering who is involved.  Very good book; I do enjoy this author's books.  --Larry
