Interlibrary Loan   Request for Purchase

Search Worldcat to find an item from a library outside our system:

Notice: Starting March 1, 2010 there is a one item per week limit

Option 1:

Go to WorldCat (a catalog of the holdings of thousands of libraries worldwide including Wisconsin libraries) to find items not owned in our library system. You may fill out an online request form if you would like to request it through interlibrary loan.

  • Directions: Enter your search (keyword, author, title) and click 'Search'. At the List of Records, click on the material you wish to request. At the Detailed Record, click on "Borrow this item from another library (Interlibrary Loan-ILL)" or the ILL icon at the top. Fill in the information for all the lines with asterisks next to them and click 'Submit'. Note: items owned by the Winnefox Library System do not give you the ILL options.

Option 2:

Print out the item from WorldCat and bring it to the Reference Desk at the Oshkosh Public Library or call us at (920) 236-5205 to make a request.
