Sundays at Tiffany’s by James Patterson
Sundays at Tiffany’s was awesome! I couldn’t put it down and read it in about four hours. The book was a sweet childhood reflection that tied together nicely in Jane’s adulthood. Best of all this book wasn’t as sad as “Suzanne’s diary to Nicholas.” --Kristi

Black Swan Green: a novel by David Mitchell
This book is a series of short stories, all inter-related, about a 13-year old English boy's adventures in 1982. All the angst of an adolescent boy, combined with his parents' marital discord, combine into a very believable coming-of-age year. --Susan

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas
One of the many classics that I read once a year. Characters so alive, and a story so compelling you will turn off the tv, put out the lights, and read by candlelight! --Timothy

Suzanne’s diary for Nicholas by James Patterson
I love Patterson’s books! This one was a very quick read, and the story of Suzanne and her great love of both her son Nicholas and her husband. Suzanne realized that the essentials in life are what is most precious—those you love, and that all the flurry of activity in our lives to be places, work hard, etc., is a far second. The story is very sad, but worth the read! --Kristi
