Search BadgerCat/Worldcat to find an item from a library outside our system:
Option 1:
Go to BadgerCat (a catalog of the holdings of nearly 500 Wisconsin libraries) or WorldCat (a catalog of the holdings of thousands of libraries worldwide) to find items not owned in our library system. You may fill out an online request form if you would like to request it through interlibrary loan.
- Directions: Enter your search (keyword, author, title) and click 'Search'. At the List of Records, double click on the material you wish to request. At the Detailed Record, click on “Borrow this item from another library (Interlibrary Loan-ILL)." Fill in the information for all the lines with asterisks next to them and click 'Submit'.
Option 2:
Print out the item from BadgerCat or WorldCat and bring it to the Reference Desk at the Oshkosh Public Library or call us at (920) 236-5205 to make a request.
