The library supports the work of the Winnebago County Literacy Council [2] by providing books for adult new readers, offering rooms for trained Council tutors to work with their students, and assisting tutor training. The library currently houses the office of the WCLC. Questions about becoming a tutor or receiving tutoring should be directed to the Council at 236-5185.
