Teens' Top Ten
Teens' Top Ten
Teens' Top Ten is a "teen choice" list sponsored by YALSA, where teens from around the nation choose their favorite books of the previous year. The more teens who participate, the more accurately the winning list will reflect the reading tastes of teens all over the country!
There are four ways to participate:
|
1. Read one or more of the nominated titles. For your convenience, we have a display of the books located on the 2nd floor in the OurSpace teen area, all waiting for someone to check them out! |
For a list of titles, click here. |
|
2. Local teens can vote in the T.A.G. poll now until Oct. 18, 2008. |
To vote or view voting results, click here. |
|
3. Vote with other teens nationwide during Teen Read Week, Oct. 12 - 18, 2008. Readers aged twelve to eighteen can vote online, anytime that week at www.ala.org/teenstopten |
|
| 4. Attend the Teens’ Top Ten book group at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 in the lower level conference room, Oshkosh Public Library, where we’ll talk about the books we read from the list of nominees. Refreshments will be served and one lucky reader will win the door prize – selected books from the list of nominees. | Please pre-register for the Teens' Top Ten Book Group at the 2nd floor Reference Desk or by calling 236-5205. |
