Teen Author Christopher Paolini Everyone is waiting for Christopher Paolini's new book, Brisingr, to come out in Sept. 2008. This is the third book in the Inheritance Trilogy series (the first two are Eragon and Eldest). A regular library user, Christopher started writing Eragon when he was 15 - can you believe it? It took him a few years to finish - it's around 500 pages, after all - and then his parents published it. Now he's a best-selling author, plus they made a movie based on Eragon. There's a neat biography about Christopher here and The Christian Science Monitor has all the details of his inspiring story here. Open Mic Night Hey, who says there's nothing to do on a weeknight! The Oshkosh Area Writers is sponsoring an open mic night at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, under the Oshkosh Public Library Dome (2nd floor).
