Local author Vicky Reany Paulson sets the record straight with her history of the Hanks family in America – including Nancy Hanks Lincoln, the mother of Abraham Lincoln. Through careful research and determination, Paulson, who is a direct Hanks descendant, corrects misinformation about Lincoln’s maternal family tree, sharing a story that is important to both her family and historians.
