On Oct. 9 the Oshkosh Public Library lions will be 100 years old. Join us in celebrating these grand guardians of the library with a variety of special activities, all leading up to a roaring good party on Sat., Oct. 13!

Special Activities for the Cubs
Fall storytimes will include lion stories and crafts. Tweens Create (grades 4-7). Participants will take photos with the lions and create cool birthday cards during the Sept. 11 & 25 sessions.
100 Cubs Challenge
Let’s get 100 kids together to wish Harris & Sawyer a happy birthday! Pick up a lion mask in the library’s lower level Children’s Department and decorate it. Bring it to the Roaring 100th Celebration at the library on Oct. 13 and we’ll take a group photo on the front steps of the library at 10:30 am.
Enter our Lion's Pride contest
Purchase a plaster lion statue at the library and decorate it to show your library pride! Statues are $20 each, with proceeds going to fund local history collections and projects. Contest rules and entry information.
Create a special keepsake and show your love for the Oshkosh Public Library!
100th Birthday Lions postcards
Collect a set of 6 postcards. Pick up one each week on the 2nd floor of the library starting September 16th. Last 2 postcards available at the Roaring 100th celebration on Oct 13th.
