The Oshkosh Public Library is organized under Chapter 43 of the Wisconsin Statutes. It is under the control of a Board of Trustees appointed by the City Council or serving as legally required representatives of the Oshkosh Area School District and Winnebago County. The Library Board meets the last Thursday of each month to act on payment of bills, policy issues, and other items which may come before them. These meetings are held at 4:00 p.m. in the meeting room of the Oshkosh Public Library and are open to the public except as specified under Wisconsin law. The Board agenda and Board minutes are posted. All information contained herein may not have been approved by the Oshkosh Public Library Board.
