An American Girl Tea - I Love My Community

The Tea was held on February 14, 2009 at the Oshkosh Public Library.  Activities included making Valentines for residents of Park View Health Center, and designing quilt squares to be used to make lap quilts for are cancer patients.  They also assembled hygiene bags to be distributed by the Salvation Army.  The girls learned about global efforts, such as Pennies for Peace.  There was plenty of time to enjoy the tea party, so participants were encouraged to wear their finest party clothes, bring their favorite doll and also their mom or special guest.
