Teacher Cards
This card is available to individuals who are involved in education at any level, including home-schooling parents, student teachers, daycare teachers and teachers in public and private schools. A teacher card makes it possible to have a library card for professional use as well as one for personal use. Teacher cards are not issued on-site, but will be mailed to the applicant. Please ask at the Oshkosh Public Library Children's Service Desk for an application.
Book Sets for Teachers from the Oshkosh Public Library
Reserve these titles by calling 236-5208 or using the "Teacher Collection Request Form" Books come in sets of 10 and can be checked out on a teacher card for 4 weeks. (Longer check outs can be arranged. Additional copies can be reserved through the system.)
Big Books List by Subject
We have a collection of Big Books (large, over-sized picture books) that are great for teachers to use in the classroom. A teacher's library card is needed to check these Big Books out.
Teacher Collection Request Form
Oshkosh area teachers, day care providers and homeschooling parents may request up to 30 items from the Oshkosh Public Library collection. Submit this form online to make a request or print it out and drop it off at the Children's Desk in the lower level.
Library Tour Request Form
Oshkosh area teachers, day care providers, homeschooling parents or group leaders may request a library tour or visit for children ages Pre-school - Grade 5 using this form. This form may be printed out and returned to the Children's Desk in the lower level.
