Weekly events & hands-on activities
Free and fun for everyone

Earn a chance to Be Fine Free!

Stop in to the library's lower level to register.
Read or be read to 20 minutes or more each day. 

Drop In & Read
Each time you finish two weeks of reading you will earn a choice of food coupon and:

  2 weeks: Miller & Mike event ticket
  4 weeks: Catapult Kit
  6 weeks: Free book
  8 weeks: Ticket to enter our Super Prize bonus drawings
10 weeks: Ticket to enter our Super Prize bonus drawings
12 weeks: Ticket to enter our Super Prize bonus drawings

A special Drop In and Read Day will be held on Tuesday, June 7 from 2 to 6 p.m.
Sign up for Summer Reading.  Kick back and read for 20 minutes to receive a FREE one-day pass to the Pollock Community Water Park
For any 20 minutes a child reads at the library, they will earn a BFF coupon (Be Fine FREE, limit one per person).

All children infant through middle school are welcome to join us for fun activities and reading adventures.  All activities are free.  Events are held in the lower level meeting rooms, unless otherwise noted.

*For programs requiring tickets: Free tickets available the week prior to the event--Monday for the general public, Thursday for groups.

Free Bus Rides with Library Card

Kids ride Free to the library on city buses with a library card!
June 6 - August 26
If you are under 18, show your library card and ride FREE to the Oshkosh Public LIbrary!
It's easy!
 

  • Get on the bus.
  • Show your library card.
  • Route #2 stops in front of the library or get off at the Transit Center.
  • Be sure to get a ticket for a free ride home at the library's service desk.

Buses leave downtown 6:15 a.m. to 6:10 p.m.  Questions? Call Go Transit at 232-5340.
