Oshkosh School Board has started final interviews of the three candidates for the superintendent position. Each candidate will spend one day in Oshkosh this week. A community reception will be held each day a candidate is here. The reception will be held at Oshkosh East High School, 405 Washington Ave. from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. The Board is expected to select a new superintendent on Thursday, Aug. 7.
Final candidates are:
Lowell Holtz, who is currently the superintendent in the Beloit school district (Monday reception)
David Gundlach, who is currently the director of curriculum, instruction, assessments and technology for the Menasha Joint school district (Tuesday reception)
Richard Zimman, who is currently the superintendent of the Ripon school district (Wednesday reception)
