Researching a Company/Employer Online (Tips & Tricks for Job Seekers)
When applying for a job it is very important to know about the company you’re applying to.  There is a wealth of information on nearly every company out there on the internet; you just need to know how to find it. 
Learn some of the basic and advance search techniques to find company information through popular search engines Google and Bing.  Learn to evaluate information on the web and sort the good from the bad.  Learn to search the Oshkosh Public Library’s databases to find reliable, accurate company information.

Skills required:  Basic Computer Skills, i.e. mouse, keyboard, open/close programs; Basic Internet Search Skills
Audience:  Adults

These are FREE, small group session held in the Library’s Technology Lab (Lower Level) and taught by a librarian who can provide personalized instruction and support.
